Hi Guys,
I had done a fingerboard inlay, and my CA must have been a little old as I got some white fizzing that showed around the inlay. It wasn't bad, but the lines were not as crisp as i wanted, and it bugged me, so I went about fixing it this weekend. This is what I did:
- I wiped a paper towel down with Super Solvent CA Remover
- Wiped over the bad areas
- with a sharp fresh thin utility blade, i scrapped away the white CA
- let all dry
- used black magic marker on the pearl (ebony fingerboard).
- Sprayed CA Accelerator
- waited 15-20 seconds
- applied Super Thin CA (see John's Youtube vids for this process. Yes, I have a few holes in the FB for alignment - also one of John's youtube vids)
