Carbide end mills needed

Post by CavalierKingCharles »

I want to route in some SM 0.040 b/w purfling.
Can any one tell me the correct size end mill and where I might be able to get them.

Thanks,

Thanks Tim, looks like a good resource.

I do have some 1/32 end mills that should work but the channel I get is too big.
I'm guessing the problem is my Dremel, I think I need to get a better tool.

If you have a compressor this works great:

This unit turns at around 54,000 RPM or you can upgrade, as I did, to a 70,000 RPM and just buy the base which would be about $50 more.
