John, thanks for taking the time to look at the pictures I sent. This is going to be an interesting journey. I'll keep the forum posted when it's done.

P : I assume you have checked your bridge position in ref: to your plate and bracing. A good idea when laying out your bracing pattern on the inside of the top is to include the shape of the bridge with the saddle slot position correctly in relation to your head block.

Tom, good advice indeed. But this soundboard arrived fully populated with bracing and bridge plate; I had no influence on what was in the box when I opened it. Hence my questions as to what I needed to do with it, or not.
