A couple more pics....

The guitar plays and sounds great, despite the many flaws and poor finish. Thankfully it photographs better then it looks in person!

Nice looking guitar. The mahogany looks great. Have your start your second scratch guitar?

Thanks guys. The mahogany does have a great look to it, plus there's a little bit of curly figure in the neck too. I'm thankful to all the generous people on forums like this, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to complete this project. I've spent countless hours reading forums and watching youtube vids and have learned a ton! I've made plenty of mistakes on this guitar, but hopefully the next one will be better!

I'm coming along well with my scratch build - an L-0 or L-00.... I'm using Cristophe Grellier's plans for an L-00 but I'm using a similar vintage L-0 for reference.... the only difference between the two that I've noticed is the L-0 I have access to has a bound soundhole instead of a rossette, and is black instead of sunburst. Its mahogany with sitka top and rosewood fingerboard. So far I've closed the box and bound it, the neck set fretted and assembled, and I've started shaping the neck. This project is moving along much faster then the 000 did! (I started the L-0 beginning of June)
