Help for good value top loading bridge and pickups for S type guitar build

My good friend and neighbor came over today, he knew that I’ve been struggling with some major health issues …and I buggered up the finish on my first acoustic guitar build.

My friend had an unknown Asian manufactured S type electric guitar kit that he picked up a while back…he did a little work (sanding) on it but got busy with life. He never got around to building it and thought I might enjoy it. I was very grateful. I need something to keep me busy during chemo so it will be a great project.

The parts have a kind of chrome finish but they seem to be developing some pitting? I should replace them.

I need to be very respectful/careful with costs….but I’d like the final product to sound and play well. I don’t need fancy.

I was hoping the members of the forum might recommend to me affordable and good quality options:

a)top loading bridge…I think that would be less costly than a similar priced/quality tremelo.

b)pickups (I don’t enjoy distortion…..my preference is for clean and accurate tone)…any combination is fine SSS, HSH, HSS.

thank you

I'm not an electric builder per se. I have put together several kits, and I assemble & fix electric guitars for friends.

A couple of sources:
Allparts
Guyker
Kaish - on Amazon, generally the cheapest.

There are some dimensional variations - ie, on Telecasters, there's at least two varieties, generally categorized as US-spec and offshore/non-US spec. So check dimensions on anything you're getting.
