My Family and I recently took a road trip, We managed to actually stop by and pick up the kit from John hall at Blues Creek. Wow! What an awesome experience! This kit is for my daughter, she picked out the woods and accessories.
The kit is a solid Mahogany D-42 style trim, gold Grover tuners, Gold fret's. John inlayed the torch in the headstock and the snowflakes in the fret board. It looks amazing!
Here are some pictures.

I have the rim in the mold and I have the neck and tail blocks glued in. I have just about finished gluing on the back and top braces.

The top braces are scalloped, I will just clean them up a little, after the glue has cured.

A family heirloom is how I explained it to my wife! It really is cool to think that this could/will be around for years!
My daughter was helping me glue the kerfed lining on tonight! I am a little worried about installing the peal purfling but I am confident that Ya'll will keep me on the right path!

I have the top and back braces attached and the top braces carved. I have the top signed. I have to notch the rim and attach the label to the back. I hope to have the body glued together by the week end.
