Guess it's time I blogged one of these. So here goes (#9) even though I started taking pics a little late. This is a BCG supplied guitar (for the most part). It is a Sitka and Mahogany that I will build to the '37 specs (or close to it). The top came joined, sound hole cut and routed for the rosette. I have installed the rosette. The back is jointed, glued up and drying.

Some more steps completed today. The back strip is zig-zag.

I got the sides thicknessed and bent and will work on bracing tomorrow.

I have radiused the end blocks and glued them up. I put a piece of PSA on the mold and use it to get the proper radius. I draw cross hatches and a center line and then sand until just a portion of the center line is left.

Got to work this morning/afternoon on the back bracing and kerfing. I use a vacuum press for my bracing.
