Doing the fret ends. I'll finish the level/crown/polish after the Neck is attached to the guitar.

I use the small file here ot round over the fret ends and will complete the job once attached.

I like a pillar file , they are my file of choice on fret ends but if you make it work keep using it. Love the blog your doing a fine job Tim

Thanks John. I started with a pillar file, I just seem to have more control with this one. As my grand mother used to say "À chacun son goût," - to each his own. It's good to see and try different things and amazing how one will suit you and another won't but you end up with the same result.

perfect example , if it works for you , and you get good results do it .

Top trimming and the top trimmed up. I use a PC 7310 and Whiteside flush trim bit. It has a real nice tap tone, I didn't make any additional adjustments to the bracing.

The back is on and the box is closed. The back has a zig-zag back strip.
