Things are going a little slower that I'd like, but probably all for the best. Finally got the channels cut for the bindings & purflings. So this is just small update while I test fit everything. Was a little close on the bracing. Thought I might have cut it too low at first. Think in the next one I'll cut them short of the rims rather than through. Other than that though they came out well.

The HD is really coming along. The wood is beautiful and your skills are there! Building ship models probably helped. Is it easier than working with 5mm planking?Can't wait to see the finish on that wood.
Binding and purling now glued in place and about to start setting the neck.
Tim - I used Gorilla CA Glue. Finding a suitable glue around here for this purpose was not easy. It sets in about 30 seconds so you have to be well prepared before you start. Overall though it turned out pretty good and all the joints are really tight.
