Hi Guys

If I bought a 'standard' dread kit, is it relatively straightforward to modify it to a forward shifted bracing 1939 style model and if so, where could i find a bracing pattern?

Thanks again

the one thing you have to remember when you forward shift the braces you need a longer bridge plate. Too often newbies do this then find that the pin holes are off the plate. All you need to do is set you braces that the X brace is 1 inch from the hole keeping the finger braces where they are now and the tone bar follows the X up.

not that hard . Also the stew mac plan is not too bad. That is a great way to start
