Binding Glue

Does anyone know of an alternative for Duco or Weld-On #16 that can be purchased at hardware/craft stores? I've been every where I can think of (Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart, Target, Joann Fabric, Michael's, Pat Catan's, Family Dollar, and Dollar General) looking for those two, but have had no luck. Is something like Elmer's Model and Hobby Cement comparable? Does anyone know if Loctite makes a product that would compare?

this may be. Look at the common ingredients of the glue . Acetone or acetate should be listed. I can't say for sure if elmers will work . You can buy on line.

I buy my Duco at the local Ace. They are a chain and get deliveries at least once a week, so I am sure they can get it for you.

Amazon.com will sell you genuine Duco or Weld-On #16. Or try your local hobby store that sells RC planes, cars and boats.

My Ace Hardware has Duco hanging on the wall with the other glues - no shipping.
