Dreadnought saddle slot angle

Hi, I'm cutting my own saddle slot and pin holes in a pre-shaped ebony belly bridge for a D28 dreadnought kit.

Can anyone tell me the exact angle the slot should be and an ideal depth of slot for a 11/32 thick bridge? I've measured the angle off my Stewmac Herringbone plan and it looks to be about 1.75 degrees.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks John - is the idea to leave 1/8 thickness in the bottom of the slot?

Ah - I meant the depth of the slot - should I leave an 1/8 of ebony in the bottom of the slot?
