Inlay Options

I'm beginning to plan my first build and was wondering what type of fretboard inlay options I have. I've been trying to search for what I'm looking for but I can't find anything. I'd like to use a lighter colored fretboard and use darker (brown/red/black) inlays. I've only been able to find the standard colored pearl/abalone so far. So I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction on this.

Thanks

pearl is often the material of choice but you are limited only by your imagination. Corian is a great material as it gives you a variety in a color pallet.
Wood is also an option. Reconstituted stone, so you can have fun looking to what trips your trigger.

Oh wow. I have no idea why I didn't realize I could just use different wood. Completely over my head. Thanks

When using wood for position marker inlays beware of the different expansion characteristics of different species of wood, this can lead to split fingerboards.
