Dehumidifier

Post by rposgood »

Summer is fast approaching here in Florida and with it the humidity. This weekend we were in the 70% range and we now are typically above 50% as the norm. Who can recommend a decent dehumidifier for use in a singe room?

Thanks!

I've used this for a couple of years now, keep things at 45% maximum, and that is when it is really humid,
Soleus Air DP1-70-03 70 Pint Room Portable Dehumidifier

Soleus probably has other models as well, the company is highly rated all around.

+1 on Soleus. I have a pair of CME-40s, one in the shop and one in the basement. No problems with either.

put a a/c unit in that room, that is what they do, then you need a gauge to measure, so you can keep the correct amount in
