Two Cherries Curved Chisel?

Has anybody used the two cherries curved chisel for carving / scalloping braces? I'm not happy with the lumpy scallops i have right now, but I'm not sure i want to pull the trigger on the stew-mac or LMI curved chisels - the two cherries is about $32 on amazon...

I don't have them but they were spoken of well on the OLF.
