I don't think you can delete a duplicate post. If I end up with one I go back and edit all the duplicate to just say "Duplicate." I suppose one of the moderators could delete a duplicate post, but it hardly seems worth bothering them about it.

I've been having the bank screen after a post problem too. That DOES seem like something worth bothering a moderator about. [although this time it worked fine.]

Still not finished but think it is coming along especially with all the problems. Its name is The Dumpster Fire. Going to my nephew when finished. Thanks for all the help.

Nice look on the finish. I've seen Gibson LP Gold Tops that didn't look that good.

Don't know if it's a test of my patience or it's cursed. Finished the neck. That night it fell off the drying rack and dented the corner of the headstock. Had to take a 3/8 of an inch of the top of the headstock, reconture and respray. If nothing else I have learned just about everyway to screw up a guitar and how to fix most. But thanks for the compliment. Been a real learning experience.

You did a very good job. Things happen. You're right at looking at it as a learning experience.

Well I finally finished the "Dumpster Fire" yesterday. It lived up to its name till the bitter end. Test fitted the neck and chipped the tops finish next to the fret board you can see the repair if you look. 3 of the reglued areas cracked as the lacquer dried. Not bad just not sure how long the finish is going to last. It looks very nice otherwise. Going to my 21 year old nephew. It will probably look a lot worse in a year. thanks for all the help.
