Plastic Binding
I have glued the plastic binding. What is a good way to restore the nice shine to the plastic after sanding the wood flush to the plastic? I also have some small glue spots where the plastic melted a bit. Would using a large-to-small grit buffing technique work for this?

when you finish it , you will shine it back up. You need that rough look to give the finish something to bite on to
