Keeping Things Sharp

It may not be the most exciting post, but I’m excited! Working on my next two guitars, and, for the first time I think I finally got my block plane blade decently sharp.
I remember last year on my first guitar when thicknessing the top, it worked, but I did have to put some force into it. A couple weeks ago I tuned up my planes and this morning I redid my block plane. On my first stroke I couldn’t believe how easily it went through the wood! What a world of difference.
Reading some of the forum posts have encouraged me to do better.
Ok, back I go into the shop…
