Performax S/T 22-44 questions

There's one of these for sale near me but it would be a long drive, so was wondering if its worth considering? Its an early model, the one that didn't come with a stand! Asking around $400 but needs a hood (and prob a conveyor belt), aside from that supposed to be fine but it looks a little rough in the pic, and its been for sale for a bit at this point. Anything to be aware of or look out for? Thanks for any thoughts or advice.
