ridgid for a light use and jet for heavy use.
I used a ridgid for about 3 yrs till I fried it.

My Ridgid is still going strong after ten years of use.

Which Jet one do you recommend? I only want to buy this once, but money is still a consideration.

These were way out of my budget and I don't have the floor or bench space so I went with these that go into my drill press...

I got a spindle sander and don't like it (it seems to leave vertical grooves from the up stroke). I had this already and much prefer it.
