I have to say , that of all the things in a shop RH control is one of the most important things you can do. I want to recommend the unit I have been using. Frigidair Dehumidifier. I am running 2 in my shop. They hold my shop at 45%. Most times 1 will do the trick.
I just purchased the 2nd unit a 70 pint . Up to this point I had used a 50 pint unit. Just wanted to pass on what works for me

I have the Frigidaire 50 pint unit hooked up to drain directly outside (no dumping that dang container) and it works great in my 625 sq/ft shop.

What rh range should I work in? My shop is usually between 38 and 43 %. Last night and all day today I left my dehumidifier running full blast didn't check it. When I locked up this afternoon I was at 30%. I had planned to glue braces on 2 guitars tomorrow. Is 30% too low or is that in an acceptable range?

Ideally I like 45% and to keep the shop between 40-50%.
