Fret slot tool, bending machine

I purchased a bending machine from Blues Creek; works flawlessly and I recommend it; you can see it in the pic.
The jig is one I made in an afternoon from scrap wood, a couple of $5 toggle clamps from HF, and a slotting template from KMG; Ken also designed the jig. It is solid, easy to build, should last a lifetime. The saw from LMII was the most expensive part of the whole thing at $25.

I grabbed the wrong saw for the pic. The correct saw is the smaller one in this picture.
Duh.

how are you controlling depth? I used to superglue a stop on the side of the saw, and thanks for the tool review, the bender also makes a great morning coffee warmer

Dave, soon you'll be fretting for hire! I might get one of Johns benders for my desk ornament too! Ha ha.

I did not show off either item to its best advantage - I had a power outage and had to scrunch everything close to a window at one end of the shop to get enough light. Apologies if any feelings hurt!
