Delta 20" band saw with the original 1 HP motor.
As far as I can tell, it was built prior to 1952 and weighs a ton.
And, yes, it won't fit through the garage door standing up.

Nice, seems like old cast iron weighs more than the new stuff.

I hadn't thought about it, but this is one of the earliest all welded steel frame bandsaws.
Even the wheels are aluminum.
Still weighs almost 500 pounds when it's all assembled.

I'm a little surprised it originally came with a 1 HP motor. Do you plan to upgrade the motor?

I'm going to try it with the original Delta RA motor, these are very well reviewed. If it doesn't have enough power I'll start looking for a replacement. I could probably get as much out of the old Delta motor as a new 2 HP would cost.

I think that's mine. It wandered off a couple days ago . Thanks for taking it in, I be down shortly to retrieve it:)
