Hello all, I'm back and asking for more info plse. Can you recommend a good reference for sharpening. Online, print or dvd.
Cheers - Ed

Google "Scary Sharp System or Method" you'll find plenty of info --- here's one

I seem to round the face of my chisels a bit when I don't use my Veritas jig. So I use it all the time now. Once I got the blade sharp, I only need to do a few strokes on some 2000 grit paper to get the blade nice and sharp again.
Plane blades...I can not do without the guide. I have nice sharp blades since I got my MK II honing guide and learned "scary sharp." Before I learned that technique, my blades were merely "annoyingly dull."
