Great info guys! I'm getting ever closer to the finish I want, I have learned a lot through mistakes! And I think as long as you are learning through your mistakes, it's ok to make them! Some I was doing is not allowing long enough cure time, and only pore filling once! Plus the pore filler was Stew Mac's waterbased. It's ok, but rosewood and mahogany seem to drink that stuff in! I'm gonna try Pore O Pac solvent based next time, with more coats! I'm getting a somewhat shiny finish, but a bit hazy too!
