My thickness sander

I joined this forum specifically to see this clever design as the pictures were hidden to outsiders. I am pleasantly surprised by this idea. I don't have a thickness sander and looking for ideas. This is a good one. I wonder, if simply slapping washer on the ends of the board would keep the board to the right height... maybe I'll post some pictures...
