Has anyone tried the nut files from Warmoth?

I got 6 files from StewMac, but they were a bit pricier, probably about $13 each. However, are the Warmoth more suited for electric strings? The sizes are a shade thinner than the sizes I see on the medium strings I have. Does that even matter?
That doesn't make them bad by any stretch, just the sides on an acoustic might have to be widened a scosh.
