I'm using KTM-SV on for my first attempt at finishing. Two individuals with a lot of experience with this product recommend Carborundum Premiere Red Dri-Lube paper for level sanding dry. They claim it's great so I have some on the way. The downside was I had to buy 100 sheets (9"x11"). Thankfully, a couple of guys from work are splitting it with me so not too bad. Per these gentlemens advise I will use Abralon for 1000g and 2000 grit and possibly 4000g. I ordered a couple of 4000g pads......one of the guys uses 400g and the other goes to polishing after 2000g.
Right now I'm planning to use 3M-216U "P" graded paper for sanding the wood as it's available locally (up to P320g).
Best sand paper ... your opinions!
