I just received some Curly Cherry fro Bob at RC tonewoods. Beautiful stuff! I hope I can do it justice!

I recently saw a photo of newly finished cherry guitar on top of an old cherry table. The wood for both came from the same log. The table was this beautiful deep reddish, amber color. The guitar was very light in color. The builder said how the guitar would eventually darken like the table.
I have to say, the table was such a nice color, that despite the guitar being absolutely beautiful, I had to ask the guy what the table was made of. Thats how I got the info I wrote above.
Cherry makes a beautiful guitar. Post pics as you build Woody!!

Is the cherry used for the top as well? I love the look of cherry.

I too would like to get some cherry for a future build, I've been checking out what Bob puts up, looks great too and a very nice price. Soon I will have some cash and will add to my stash!!
