I can't moan about the service from Stewart MacDonald. Because of a discrepancy between the instruction booklet and the instruction video I made an error on one part of the build. I notified them and the replacement parts are already on their way to England. Thanks!

To be honest, I think that would be true of all reputable kit and luthier suppliers. They may cost a bit more but then you have to confidence of knowing that problems will be addressed, and for someone who is just starting out I think that's very important.

Called in problem Sunday and replacements arrived today in England! Wowser.

Watch out Tippie, I may decide to start my Blues Creek L1 when the Stew Mac is finished.

Would John Hall help you out with your StewMac kit? Absolutely.
Would StewMac help you out with a John Hall Kit? I highly doubt it.
There's a difference between good service and superlative service.

I agree completely; I like StewMac a lot, but I've never done biz with anyone better than John Hall.
