Hi Rick, and welcome. This is a good place to be to ask for help, hear what others have done and are doing throughout their builds, and have alittle fun (just hang around Tony for awhile!).
We would all love to see what you are doing, so don't hesitate to share a pic now and then.

I get the picture. You did choose to build a HD (heavy duty) 28 for your first guitar!!!!!

HD - Heavy Duty, so that's what it stands for? I thought it might be something less obvious like herringbone dreadnought or something like that. It's a good thing it's heavy duty!
