First "fancy" rosette

Working on another L-0 build, this time a rosewood back and sides and I want to dress it up a little. My first builds had very simple rosettes, but I wanted to try something fancier. I was pretty happy with how it turned out, what do you think?

Rosewood bordered on each side with abalone.... on each side of the abalone is a think b/w/b purfling.

Thanks everyone! This guitar is also going to have matching abalone purfling around the perimeter of the body, along with curly maple binding. I hope it will look good when completed!

Well I consider myself a newbie too, believe me. But how did I do it? Lots of reading and help from the guys on forums. Lots of great guys on here that are always willing to help and give advice. And if you want to learn lots, look up Bluescreek guitar building videos on youtube and watch them all several times. Amazing information in those videos that speeds up the learning curve a lot!
