Thickness of top

Hi
I think i removed to much material of the top and i wonder if i can use it at all?
It's around 2,7-2,9mm. I read that it should to be 3,1-3,2mm.
Material is western red cedar.

yeah you got it a tad thin.
You may be able to use it by using a heavier plate but if you are going to put that much work in it , get a new top. In the end you will be happier

I thicknessed a Sinker Redwood top to .110" (about 2.8mm) and it sounded great. Not sure how close those 2 woods match up. If it was me I'd use it but I'm still learning on some of the thickness stuff.

I´ve ordered a new top..next time I´ll read my instruction better and not mix top/back.
Top=1/8 (cedar)
Back and sides=1/10 (walnut)
correct?

Make a classical guitar with that top. When you tap it does it still have a good ring? It might still be ok.

Yes there is still some sort of ring.....but not that clear. I´ll save it for future projects.
