Shape of Martin Slotted Headstock

Is the overall dimensions of a solid Martin headstock different than the Martin slotted headstock? Especially, is the area above the tuners where the decal/inlay is positioned the same on both styles?

nope
the headstock is 2 7/8 at the top
6 1/2 from the back of the nut

On the slot head
the corners tended to be sharp.
