what pick ups you use? I built 2 LPs and used 59's on one and P94's on the other.

I'm also curious which plans you used.
It seems Stewmac has stopped selling the McRostie plan (although LMI still has them).

Really nice LP. The finish is awsome.

Thanks all. Yes, flamed maple top from LMI, StewMac's "Parson Street" PAF copies, buildtfrom the StewMac 59 burst plans. If the plans truely do go out of availability I could make a copy but I won't do that as long as SM is still selling them. Finish is KTM-9 with StewMac stains both in the wood itself and also mixed in the finish coats.
I did a build thread over at HCEG if you want any of the gory details

Freeman,
Stewmac no longer carries the plans, presumably because the 'patent holder' asked them to stop. I think LMI still has them, so I'll grab a set from there.
There are other les paul plans available online too. I don't have a les paul build in my immediate future, but it's definitely on the bucket list in the 'luthiery' section.
I just checked out your build thread over at HC. I love it. really amazing work.
And I didn't realize you were in WA. I live over in Bothell, north of Seattle. If you are ever in the neighborhood, give me a shout!

How would you describe the sound of the Parson PAF's?

Nice work Freeman. The carved tops are always a joy to see. Make soundclip please!
