How come the PMs are different to thread posts when it comes to quoting?

When I quote in threads, I can do multiple <quote><\quote> and it gets separated from the rest of the message. Not so in PMs. My replies get lost among multiple quotes.

When I write in threads, I can edit my post at a later time. Not so in PMs.

I especially miss being able to edit my PM. I should be able to do it while it's still in the outbox. Any way of making this happen?

I had typed a reply to this earlier, but I must not have submitted it.

I am currently testing the problem with quoting and do not have an answer to that yet.

You cannot edit a PM after sending it, but you can delete it if it is still in your outbox and it should not be delivered to the recipient.

I think quotes in private messages should be working now. Give them a try and let me know if they work for you.
