Luthiers Mercantile is closing

In the coming months Luthiers Mercantile will be closing their doors permanently.
They will be selling off all of their inventory and other assets. If you have an interest in other assets or bulk purchases, please email

Yow. Another one bites the dust. I guess we'll still have Stew-Mac, but what other suppliers are people using these days?

I got their email a few hours ago, and I took it badly. We're all aging, and I got the idea that in the absence of someone buying the business, selling out and selling off made the most sense before the lights went out. I don't like seeing all that skill and experience fade away.
