Re: Happy New Year
I know John. Between the pandemic, and Frank's stroke, and general political climate, it's been truly awful.
I'm not taking sides politically, so don't read anything into the post. I served this country for a total of 10 years. I don't care what your political persuasion is, we need to pull together as a country, particularly now, and care for one another, love one another, and see each person as an American brother or sister. The crap as to stop, from both sides.
2022 can be a great year, even in the middle of a raging pandemic, if we set our minds to it. Concentrate on taking care of your neighbors. All of us have older folks who should be checked on periodically. Please set aside 30 minutes per week and check on a neighbor. You'll be surprised at how uplifting it is for you, and how utterly overwhelming appreciated it'll be. It's a Godsend for your neighbor...and for you!

Re: Happy New Year
It has been a difficult year, and everyone looks ahead in the hope that things will be better. Well, they are better than we know, or at least better than we hear about in the mainstream news. Here is a link to a website that annually lists 100 good news stories. It shows that all our actions, individually and collectively, are not wasted; they really can and do make a difference:

It will take some time to read it, but it's worth it. All best wishes for good health, peace, and beautiful music in 2022 - Bruce W.
