Individual tuning machines are hard to find?

I am finishing up this custom OM 7-string model for my son. It will have low A/B string. Probably .060 or close to it. He plays 7 and 8 string electrics and asked for this design.

I've made it an OM with Martin's 30's era bracing patterns so am fondly labelling it "Nineteen Thirty Seven String."

The question: I can't find 7 tuning machine sets or any that sell individual tuning machines. Certainly they must be available? Any hints? I'm not wanting to buy two sets just to put 5 in a drawer. The extra peg is on the top of the headstock so need a bass side spare.

I've made the neck wide to have regular spacing between the strings. It will be very interesting to hear this build and to see how it feels.

A repair shop / tech will likely have some takeoffs in their spares box, where someone was upgrading. You'd have 6 brand new and one used. Or they may have orphan sets, where they purchased a set when in a similar situation and only used one or two.

Quick google shows these are sold individually -

thanks. those searches helped me figure out how to search for 3x4 sets. I was just surprised that I couldn't order singles from the usual suppliers.

I found that I could order direct from Schaller which are my favorites.
