Hello All!
I am getting my garage ready for my first build. I am planning to build a mobile workbench that I can move around the garage. What would you suggest for a average bench height, length, and depth.
I've got a regular stationary bench where I keep my tools and supplies. This bench will be for assembly. I am planning to have a vice on this bench and I would like to know what others have on their bench to aid in the building process.

I've found that working on a bench that I can access from all 4 sides is a great improvement over working at a bench up against a wall, and even worse, a bench tucked into a corner of two walls. With lots of light (sunglasses may be needed) directly over the bench.

That is why I want a mobile unit. I can move it out of the corner and have access
To all sides. I was thinking 29" high with a top around 36x48, with a laminate top. Would love
To know what other use.

This is the best setup for a workbench for building guitars that I have found. It is my goto bench. Takes up very little space, keeps tools away from the work, and adjusts to fit any instrument. See it at:

Enjoy!

That is what I am looking for. The only thing I am going to do that is different is put locking HD casters on it so I can roll it around the garage.
