I sold the Walnut and Redwood L-OO last weekend... been sick with worry that it wouldn't get there in one piece, that the buyer wouldn't like it, etc. but he got it this afternoon and appears to be happy with it.
He said it was a 'Great Guitar, sounds just like his Martin Custom Shop OO'.
I'm pretty happy with that review. :)
It's been a while since this one was finished so I thought I'd share one more time:

Thats an amazing guitar darren, how long have you been building ?
Wish I could get even one finished but having awful trouble with my neck joint and was even thinking about shelving it --until I saw this !!
Well Done again

Love it Darren. I just got the wood to do a Walnut Dred (#9). Did you use a walnut bridge as well?

Thanks everyone!
The bindings, bridge and FB are Mad Rose. Forgot to mention this is Peruvian Walnut.
Yes, a round of canned soup for the membership, on me. :) To be honest this gets me another guitar's worth of wood and that's about it, but I'm cool with that.
Rusty, I've only been building for about 3 years; it is only because of Bill Corey, this forum's membership and a few other generous individuals that I even know what a Upper Transverse Brace is. You'll get that first one done and it will feel amazing - keep at it.

Wow Darren, That is great news.
I'm happy for you. I've one guitar on the market and it appears now and then on some forum with good comment. Maybe for a pro it is common, but for us it is a special moment. Cherish it.
Your guitar is looking superb, as always. Great job.
Today we don't have soup, but I'll drink a nice glass of port to your succes.
Cheers.

Darren, can you tell us how you did that narrow white purfling? Was it laminated to the binding first? That sure is elegant.

Thanks,
Actually that is a thin B/W fiber purfling, I think .020/020.
I installed it at the same time as the binding; kind of a handful to wrestle 3 pieces into the correct channels as the glue sets up.
On other builds I've done a single maple side purfling and with those I do ca them onto the binding before bending.
