F-Clamps on sale at WoodCraft

Post by Jim_H »

Woodcraft is having a sale on some of the Bessey F-Clamps for 40% off through Jan 27.

These things are great. They are very powerful, and come in a wide variety of sizes.

I have five 12" and one 24." I like them for some applications and not so much for others. I give my Irwin Quick clamps the edge. But cost wise they win hands down.

On Jim's tip I got online and ordered a couple. I needed a router bit and bandsaw blade anyway, so why not treat myself to some decent clamps?

These clamps are great. They have excellent clamping power, and they have much better reach than the quick-grips.

I love this picture Todd Stock posted over on the OLF of him using them to glue a bridge plate/patch on an old LG-1.

Yes and no. The Bessey has a 2 1/2" & a 5" throat and the Irwin's are in the middle at 3" throat. Both great clamps and better suited for some jobs over others.
