Holiday gifts?
Holiday gifts?
So what guitar building stuff did everyone get for the holidays?
I got a luthiertool slot head jig as an early Christmas gift and bought myself a bending blanket as another early Christmas gift.
What did all of you get?

Tim, can you show a picture of the taper jig sled or tell us where you got it from?

Received a heating blanket from my wife after a few strong hints. Anyone know a good source for sides to practice on? I think I saw RC sells some orphaned side fairly cheap.

Re: Holiday gifts?
Santa brought me a Steel City 14" deluxe bandsaw!, only, I won't have it for a couple of weeks.
I spent Christmas Eve day in the shop with my apprentice (my wife) moving benches around, cleaning, and organizing to make room for it.
I'm pretty excited. Tool King has this saw for $671 right now, and only $40 shipping, no tax.
When it comes and I have it set up, I'll take pics and post them.
Oh, and he also brought me a new Cabella's Outback felt hat. :>) I will keep wearing my old Bailey Gallantin felt in the shop and when camping.

Santa bought me two 10 foot long anti fatique pads for my shop. A great idea I had not thought of.
Kevin, I looked up the saw, it looks great!
