I have some bees wing Maple but that would be too obvious. I also have quilted eucalyptus that looks similar but I will so I will let these rest and see who comes up with the right one .
I think it is safe to way it is wood .

It is neither Maple or eucalyptus. You are right about one thing, it is wood!
