Been a tough week for our family.

My daughter and my niece went for a 4-wheeler ride last Sat. Didn't know the old dirt road very well and lost control in a tight corner. Both were trapped under the 4-wheeler for a while to someone happened along and pulled it off them. Unfortunately, my niece didn't make it.....couldn't breath. She was my daughters best friend so she is dealing with the trauma of the event (the wreck, being trapped, not able to help/save her cousin) and loosing her best friend. My daughter has an injured right arm but long term, I think the emotional trauma will impact her more.

Sure hard to watch your children hurting........even tougher on my sister's family loosing their youngest daughter.

Oh man Darryl,
I am so sorry. These accidents on 4 wheelers with kids happen too often. I feel for your family and I'll keep you and your sisters family in my prayers.

I can't say anything to make your daughter feel better. Nobody can. Just know that we are all here for you.

That's terrible, so sorry for your family. Just be there for her and try to get her to talk it out with you....best you can do for her.
