Where are all the posts?

Post by David L »

Got a call in to Geek Squad, something must be wrong with my computer, I don't think I'm receiving all of the posts. Let me explain, a quick overview of some numbers and you'll understand, there is currently 1030 registered members of KGF (at the time of this posting), 846 have NEVER posted at all, out of the 184 that have posted, 41 have only posted once and and mere 61 have posted more than 10 times, how many are actively building "and" posting? I don't know, maybe 20 (just a guess). Where have all the members gone? (sounds like the makings of a bad Joni Mitchell song). Please forgive me, I don't get out much!

I think there have been may lurkers over the years. Also, many who use to participate when Bill Cory owned the site are no longer around....including Bill.
But to you who are interested, Bill is doing just fine, and is working again to finish up the rebuild of his very first guitar which as some of you might remember, sort of, was broken.

Also, when the old forum was archived, our post counts did not migrate to the new forum. As a result, I bet many of those people with few or no posts used to have more, but lost them in the migration to the new servers. SeanBig fixed a few people, but I doubt he would correct the post count of inactive members.
For proof, look at my join date. I joined the forum in 2008 or 2009, but according to my join date, I have not yet reached my anniversary. As such, I expect paper gift items for my one year anniversary, capish?

At 922 posts, I think Tony is the post count leader! If true, he will likely become the first member to reach the 1,000 post mark.

Does he receive Grand Kubah status when he reaches the 1,000 post count plato??? <smile>
