So, my big brother was playing guitar and I figured I'd try it too.

Tony, my knee scooter looked something like the pic below. You place your knee on the pad (the one that has the broken foot) and push yourself around with your good leg/foot. Some steer and some don't. Mine didn't steer but it wasn't a problem. Also, notice they have a hand brake. I could go around the office way faster on this thing than I could walk. Only place I had a problem using it was on grass.

This is the economy job and it works fine (there are many fancier ones). Only thing to pay attention to is you want a good pad under your knee or it gets sore after awhile.

If I get one, I'll post a video. Looks much better to me than crutches for the next 5 weeks.
I need surgery to fix my foot. Going in on either Friday or Tuesday. I will post here with updates that will possibly get annoying.

Good grief Tony,
I have no idea what that game is, but it sounds to me like you should leave it to the kids!
Seriously, sorry you are hurting, but hey you don't build guitars with your feet so you should still be able to sit in the shop and carve your first neck!!!!!

Hey Tony,
Sorry to hear about this. If your break happened "too easily" ie... when you were younger (and lighter ;') ) you could have taken that fall with no problem, talk to your Doc about Osteoporosis. You're probably laughing but I broke a rib recently lifting a heavy load. How that happened I don't know but it happened. My Doc suggested I get checked and sure enough, my bones are in bad shape. My Vit. D level was also very low. It's not a Female Only problem. It's very common in men. especially those who work inside in Northern latitudes.

Hope your mending goes quick!

Thanks tarhead. Interesting thought about osteoporosis. I came down on it from jumping in place so it was a pretty hard landing, but nevertheless, it is something to look into.

Hey all.
Surgery is done and I am home. The pain is off the scale right now and I have a pretty good tolerance for pain. Going to try to sleep.
