So the electrical inspectors came yesterday and told me the new code required TWO visible grounds and as the one on the shop was buried into the foundation I had to drive two more. For any that have not done this the rods are 8 feet long and must be driven flush to the ground. WHEW!

Well, the inspector came back today and everything passed, so I insulated the wall and sheet rocked it in. I'm getting to old for this s**t!!!!

I've driven those rods many times Tim.....and understand your pain! Ha! I'm sure you had zero rocks to pound through, LOL. When I was little, my dad had me hold those rods while he drove them with a sledge hammer! Talk about gun shy......

Luckily, only hit 2 rocks and only had to move one rod. And Darryl, if you had to hold those for me you'd be hand less today:)

LOL! My dad had his own business as an electrician for awhile. I've held those rods many, many times while he drove them. Looking back knowing what I know now, I wonder how puckered my dad was that he would miss and hit my arm! I'm guessing it's scary for both folks involved.
