Not sure where to put this thread. We all hear people describing how a guitar sounds in strange words ("boxy" is my favorite) that we don't really understand. Here is a video by the maker at Wilborn Guitars talking about an instrument:

There are more once you get to Youtube. He does a great job of describing the sound of the instruments he makes, along with playing them for you. I enjoy all of his videos
