Nice! Is the red a normal occurrence in box elder? New twist on 'flamed' figure.

Flame box elder is one of my favorite woods. I'm using it in one of my new guitars as a rosette and end wedge. That's really beautiful Kevin.

Dan, the red apparently occurs from a fungus. It is very prevalent in Box Elder.
Thank you Diane, I'll look forward to seeing your rosette, I bet it will look awesome. I stabilize this wood and it is a dream to work with.
